Aloha Medicinals, a functional mushroom ingredient company based in Carson City, NV, is expanding its production footprint with a second facility, adding more climate-controlled grow rooms and new processing capabilities to its existing operation.

The expansion builds on the company’s established cultivation and quality systems, giving Aloha Medicinals more capacity to support larger customer programs, maintain batch-to-batch consistency its partners expect, shorten lead times, and strengthen supply security across two sites.

“Demand for our full spectrum products keeps growing, and this expansion lets us grow with our customers,” said Steve Riccardelli, president of Aloha Medicinals. “We are taking the cultivation expertise and quality standards we’ve built over the years and giving them more room to scale.”

More Capacity for a Growing Portfolio

The expanded production footprint comes as Aloha Medicinals continues to broaden its role from mushroom ingredient supplier to innovation and formulation partner.

In addition to its portfolio of whole mushroom ingredients, extracts and proprietary blends, Aloha Medicinals is growing its branded ingredient business with platforms including FungiFuse and MyceliaGI. FungiFuse includes ready-to-use solutions for Focus, Energy, Daily Wellness, and Relax, along with custom formulation capabilities. MyceliaGI offers customers another differentiated mushroom-based platform for product development.

Built to Support Scale, Consistency and Supply Security

The second facility expands Aloha Medicinals’ climate-controlled cultivation and processing capabilities while maintaining the systems and standards developed at its Carson City operation.

By operating across two sites, the company said it gains additional flexibility to support larger-volume programs while strengthening supply continuity for customers.

The expansion also gives Aloha Medicinals more room to support continued growth across dietary supplements, functional foods and beverages, coffee alternatives, pet health and other emerging applications.

“Our customers are asking for more than ingredients,” said Riccardelli. “They need reliable supply, formulation support, consistent quality, and partners who can scale with them. This expansion strengthens our ability to deliver on all four.”
